Chartering A Chapter

Follow these easy steps:
 

  1. Request a letter from the College President to the Executive Director endorsing the formation of an SKD chapter on the campus

  2. Have at least six (6) charter members, but no more than twelve (12) listed on the Membership Form. Charter members may be students or faculty.

  3. Complete the Petition to Charter form.

  4. Mail* the completed documents PLUS the $50.00** charter fee PLUS $30.00** National Membership dues for each charter member to:

  • Once the petition to charter form, letter from the president, and fees are received, the National Office will process your order and a charter will be issued to establish your chapter. The charter will bear the Greek name of your chapter assigned by the National SKD Office.
  • The chapter charter, new member certificates, membership pins, and a start-up set of recruiting materials will be mailed to the chapter advisor from the National Office.
  • Initiation/Induction ceremonies can be found in the SKD Chapter Handbook.
